Excited for Festival but not really sure what to expect when you get to the Kentucky Horse Park to ensure that your horse is comfortable and an efficient set-up for your team's tack room? Join Horse Management gurus (and Festival veterans!) Yvette Seger and Lara Hubner as they walk you through the layout of the Kentucky Horse Park facilities and offer tips and tricks regarding things to pack to ensure that you and your horse have an "Exceeds Standards" experience at Festival 2014.

About the Presenters

Lara Hubner

Lara is a graduate HA, Chief Horse Management Judge, examiner, and coach. She held the position of HMO in the Central New England region for several years. Currently serving on the Horse Management Committee, as Co-Chair for 2014. Locally she volunteers with Rockingham Pony Club and loves teaching and coaching mounted games to Pony Club members. In her non-Pony Club life she is a Technical Product Manager for a global financial services firm and skates with the amazing ladies of New Hampshire Roller Derby.

Yvette Seger

While Yvette may be best known for her role as a Chief Horse Management Judge and her crazy socks, she serves Pony Club through several roles including HMO of the Capital Region, member of the Horse Management Committee, and as a member of the Board of Governors. In addition, Yvette is a member of the Wakefield Valley Pony Club Horsemasters group and participated in several rallies including Championships East in 2013. When she’s not at a rally, attending a BOG meeting, or burning up the phone lines on a USPC teleconference, Yvette can be found competing her 14 hand “Super Pony” Finders Keepers or doting on her long-time (and now retired) eventing partner, Roger Rabbit. Yvette is a Graduate H-A of Lake Shore Pony Club and was inducted into the USPC Academy of Achievement in 2012.
