Did you know Pony Club offers cultural exchanges? Pony Club international exchanges offer each participant a cultural experience, with a competitive edge.
Most exchange trips last a couple of weeks. Members travel with their team as well as a Coach and Team Manager selected by Pony Club.
Exchanges are offered in Dressage (virtual), Eventing (Inter-Pacific Exchange), Foxhunting, Mounted Games, Quiz, and Tetrathlon. Each exchange has its own age and certification requirements. Members who meet the criteria for the requirements are encouraged to apply.

Hosted by the United States and Hong Kong
The International Virtual Dressage Show is open to all current Pony Club members. Levels offered include Training through Third Level, as well as options for Musical Pas de Deux and Prix Caprilli. Qualifications for level/class entry are included in the application to join the team. Pony Club will select one team for each of the classes.
A selection panel determines the team using the information in the application, video of the chosen dressage test, and recommendations. The selection panel will consider a candidate's ambassadorial attributes, as well as their riding and teamwork abilities. Those selected will be charged an entry fee of $75.00.
To participate, members must submit the online application, including a video recording that meets the competition requirements. Once entries close, a selection panel will review all applications and select the team members for each class.

Host Country to be Determined
As part of the United States team, members participate in an international Eventing exchange between Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. The international teams consist of four members and will be accompanied by a Team Manager and Coach. The host country is rotated between those involved. The exchange fulfills the goals and mission of Pony Club by providing a horse-related fun and educational experience for members. To that end, the emphasis of the multi-week tour is a cultural exchange among the teams from the participating countries because it offers a variety of educational experiences unique to the host country. The competition, which takes place between teams from the participating countries at the end of the tour, is secondary to the main purpose of the exchange: making friends and learning about the people, customs, and culture of the host country.

The selection panel will consider a candidate’s ambassadorial attributes, as well as their riding abilities, capability of riding borrowed horses, and teamwork skills of each candidate.

The USPC Team will join teams from England and Ireland. Teams shall consist of four members and one team manager per country.
The Selection Panel determines the team using information on the application and recommendations. The Selection Panel will consider a candidate's ambassadorial attributes, teamwork abilities, hunting experience, and riding skills, both in Pony Club and in the hunt field.

Support the Mounted Games Team
As part of the United States team, members participate in an international Mounted Games exchange between Great Britain, Canada, the United States, and Australia. The host country is rotated between those involved. The exchange fulfills the goals and mission of Pony Club by providing a horse-related fun and educational experience for members. To that end, the emphasis of the multi-week tour is a cultural exchange among the teams from the participating countries because it offers a variety of educational experiences unique to the host country.
