USPC Members Travel to New South Wales, Australia for the International Mounted Games.
April 4, 2012 (Lexington, KY) – Five USPC members leave for Sydney, Australia, April 5th to participate in The Pony Club 2012 International Mounted Games. The 2012 Mounted Games is a two-week cultural and competitive exchange being hosted by the Pony Club Association of New South Wales, Australia. In addition to the United States and Australia, both Canada and the United Kingdom will field teams.
United States Pony Clubs, Inc. is sending a team of five riders to
compete. Riders were selected for this opportunity based on riding
ability, horse management skills and personal qualities that make
him/her an excellent ambassador of the USPC. This is a once-in-a
lifetime experience. In addition
to qualifying in competition, Pony Club members are required to be at
least 13-15 years of age and a C2-level rider or above. Mounted games foster balance in riding, suppleness, control and confident use of rider aids.
