THE 2011 POLOCROSSE EXCHANGE TO TAKE PLACE DURING POLOCROSSE WORLD CUP

Lexington, KY, April 15, 2011—Members of the 2011 Pony Club International Polocrosse Exchange will be traveling to Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre in Warwickshire, England, July 8-17, 2011. About Polocrosse—As the name implies, Polocrosse is a combination of polo and lacrosse. It is played outside, on a field, on horseback. Each rider uses a stick to which is attached a racquet head with a loose, thread net, in which the ball is carried. The ball is made of sponge rubber and is approximately 4" across. The objective is to score goals by throwing the ball between the opponent's goal posts. For more information on Polocrosse, please visit http://www.polocrosse2011.com/.
