The United States Pony Clubs, Inc.

EquestrianCoach.com Joins U.S. Pony Clubs as an Educational Service Provider and Sponsor

LEXINGTON, KY: The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., has teamed up with EquestrianCoach.com to offer Pony Club members an on-line, easily accessible and affordable educational resource. EquestrianCoach.com serves as a coaching aid to riders and trainers alike and aims to make quality education accessible and affordable to every equestrian, regardless of background, level, or geographic location. In order to deliver the best online instruction, EquestrianCoach.com gathers training tips from the most talented equestrians in the world, captures it on video, and delivers it to subscribers of the site.

"Pony Club welcomes EquestrianCoach.com as an educational service provider. We are excited to offer their comprehensive educational service to our members at a discounted rate,” said Karen Winn, USPC interim Executive Director. "We have negotiated a fantastic deal for our members: EquestrianCoach.com membership is offered at a special 20% discounted rate to Pony Club members only. In addition, every membership sold to Pony Club members generates a donation back to the USPC national organization to help support all our programs.”

Bernie Traurig, President and founder of EquestrianCoach.com, shares Winn’s enthusiasm, "Pony Club’s continued commitment to provide its members with the highest quality education makes EquestrianCoach.com the perfect fit as an educational provider to USPC members. This site provides subscribers the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of topics as well as to receive guidance from trainers such as Will Simpson (Pony Club graduate), Rich Fellers, John French, Missy Clark, Gina Miles (Pony Club graduate A), J. Michael Plumb (Pony Club graduate B), Debbie McDonald, and more. Pony Club members will greatly benefit from the educational resources we can offer on our site.”

Traurig, himself a Pony Club graduate B, Meadow Brook Hounds Pony Club, is currently George Morris’s Associate Chef d’Equipe to the United States Equestrian Team on the West Coast, and has earned numerous accolades in his career. As a horseman and 2009 inductee into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame, Traurig is renowned not only for his riding talents, but for his teaching and coaching gifts as well. He’s been a member of the United States Equestrian Team both in the U.S. and abroad. With a true breadth of knowledge and experience, Traurig has achieved the top level of competition in all three of the International Equestrian Olympic disciplines: Show Jumping, Dressage, and Eventing. After 53 years of experience in equestrian sport, his 2009 induction to the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame, and contact with thousands of horses throughout the years, Traurig has a strong desire to provide others with the knowledge that has allowed him so much fulfillment and success.
