Traurig, himself a Pony Club
graduate B, Meadow Brook Hounds Pony Club, is currently George Morris’s
Associate Chef d’Equipe to the United States Equestrian Team on the West Coast,
and has earned numerous accolades in his career. As a horseman and 2009
inductee into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame, Traurig is renowned not
only for his riding talents, but for his teaching and coaching gifts as well.
He’s been a member of the United States Equestrian Team both in the U.S. and
abroad. With a true breadth of knowledge and experience, Traurig has achieved
the top level of competition in all three of the International Equestrian
Olympic disciplines: Show Jumping, Dressage, and Eventing. After 53 years of
experience in equestrian sport, his 2009 induction to the National Show Hunter
Hall of Fame, and contact with thousands of horses throughout the years,
Traurig has a strong desire to provide others with the knowledge that has
allowed him so much fulfillment and success.
