The HM Seminar is for anyone who:

  • would like to investigate becoming an Assistant Horse Management Judge (AHMJ)
  • is already an AHMJ and would like to become a more effective teacher
  • is already or would like to be teaching HM skills at the club/center level and would like new ideas and more depth of knowledge to take back to your club or center
  • is responsible for preparing members for rally competitions
  • would like to know more about what his/her child is experiencing in the barns at Championships

Participants at the Seminar will be able to observe and participate in all facets of USPC Horse Management judging, including equipment checks, stable checks, safety checks, and turnout inspections.  No prior experience is necessary, or a desire to learn and expand your knowledge base.  There will truly be something for everyone: parents, club/center leaders, instructors, HMOs, RICs, RSs, Horsemaster and active C-3 or above Pony Club members 18 years old or over.

Attending this seminar will not keep participants from taking time to watch Pony Club members ride.  The format will be flexible.

This seminar will be led by Melody Mundell, CHMJ, Instructor, Examiner, Clinician, HMO, and member of the Horse Management Committee.

Your may pre-register at the fee of $80 per adult or $30 per youth member.  Pre-registration closes on July 9, after which you may register on-site at the fee of $90 per adult or $40 per youth member.
